  • Golden Brew started in Hialeah, Florida.
  • Begin manufacturing, marketing and supplying permanent coffee filters under the name Gold Tone Permanent coffee filters.
  • First deal signed to sell Krups under a private label deal to sell Gold Tone Permanent Coffee Filters in major department store such as Bloomingdales and Burdines as a stand-alone item.
1993
  • Mr. Coffee private label coffee filters deal signed.
  • Begin supplying Wal-Mart with filters to sell under the store's private label Home Trends.
1994
  • Expanded to Canada market with deal with Zellers, the mass market major retailer, to sell filters under private label. Zeller now owns all 138 K-Mart stores in Canada.
1995
  • Deal with Gemco, a major manfacturer and distributor of coffee brewing accessories, to sell to retail chains under private label.
1996
  • Privatel label deal with Pro-House/Sear, NorPro, a coffee accessory and gourmet product retailer and Harold's Coffee and Tea Accessories that is sold to venues such as starbucks and other gourmet coffee shops.
  • Gold Tone private label introduced to K-Mart.
1997
  • Acquired license from Kraft Foods for using Maxwell House name and image for production of Maxwell House Gold Tone Permanent coffee filter.
  • Consumer Premium Award partnership with Cumberland Packaging (Sweet 'N Low) with special on package offering.
1998
  • Planning for line extension of coffee brewing accessories.
